Hello,

I am running NTBackup on Windows 2003 Standard Edition, can anyone tell me
if is there is something I can configure whereby NTBackup will alert me by
e-mail when the backup job has completed sucessfully or failed?

Thanks,

You can easily do it yourself: Instead of scheduling ntbackup.exe directly,
schedule a batch file instead. It consists of two commands:
a) The full ntbackup.exe command with all its switches.
b) A command line mailer command that sends backup??.log to you.

blat.exe is such a command line mailer. You can download it from a number of
sites.
