Interesting. Thanks. I passed this down. I will also mention that apparently
it happened a few months ago after updates were dl and installed, the system
possibly ran out of space at the time. Maybe a bad/partial install of one?
who knows. I guess files were compressed and removed via microsofts built-in
utility.. Could compression be a possible cause here, now if the wrong files
were del i can see that being an issue which is also in the link...

Does anyone know why windows 2003 would log off a user right after
logon? I thought it may be due to a corrupt profile, so I logged into
it for the first time and it happened to me. It only happens via
console or RDP. Safe mode is fine. I dont see anything in the event
viewer other than some apps that are being shutdown in mid stream due
to the logoff. I am having the user check any programs or updates that
were installed to compare this to when the server started showing
issues. I also checked a chkdisk.
Any ideas?
