Hello vbehler,
If you can not work via names it can be DNS. Please post an unedited ipconfig /all from the servers and one problem client. Also check that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled to see shares over network neighbourhood
Best regards

Howdy all,
I have a rather complicated problem, my server isn't allowing other
computers on the network to see it's 2 mapped drives,
when i go to map the drives this is what i would normally put in
'\\foodchain\cdrive' (file://\\foodchain\cdrive)
'\\foodchain\edrive' (file://\\foodchain\edrive)
but it will not accept these any more for some reason it will only
accept the following but the network programs that i use will not work
unless they have the above addresses not the ones below
'\\192.168.0.3\cdrive' (file://\\192.168.0.3\cdrive)
'\\192.168.0.3\edrive' (file://\\192.168.0.3\edrive)
i hope this helps,
Thankyou in advance
Vince Behler
