If you do an inplace upgrade form 2003 with support tools installed
before, it will be also there in 2008 and works like before.
Additional just extract it from 2003 support tools and copy it to
2008 and it will work also. Did it both ways for testing and works
without any problem.

does anyone know where is netdiag for windows server 2008? i've
looked up and down the interent and i cant find anything. tried
installing the windows 2003 support tools sp2 verison and it told me
it wasnt compatible. also is there a 2008 support forum like this
one.?
