Found this thread on VMware communities detailing another problem, but it
seems it is working in other environments.

Hello DY,.
The first suggestion is, run it in a test environment. You did and see all
was running like you expected, so why not starting?

Hello,
We currently have a Windows Server 2003 Enterprise server with VMware
Server
installed and three virtual machines of Windows Server 2003 Standard.
I am
considering migrating to Virtual Server 2005 to replace VMware.
Is it possible to install Virtual Server 2005 on this same server and
migrate one at a time? Mainly I am curious if there is any
compatibility issues by using two different virtualization
technologies simultaneously.
Also, I was able to do this in a test environment, but I mainly ask
because I am planning on doing this shortly in the live environment
and would like confirmation that this works.
Thank you!
