No, DFS-R doesn't need much bandwidth. it uses a compression algorithm where only the changed bits of the files will be transferred (instead of transferring the whole file all over again). :)

Does DFS-R require much bandwidth? This is to be implemented using 512Kb WAN links but only 2 or 3 files are changed per day.
