Re: Excessive entries in Event Viewer!

Normally, as I am sure you realise, this error description happens when you
view the error from a machine that does not have the software installed to
decode the error message. If you see this message while logged on to the
server itself, it can happen if the software is not installed correctly, or
has been uninstalled incorrectly, or is just plain faulty.
Do you know what software you have that is using a heartbeat to maintain a
connection? Some sort of clustering or replication?

remote desktop, saved the application log into a file, and i find the
same message ther (as i expected). here is a string from that event

Or export the event log to a file and read it?

with an interval of several (5-15) minutes:

I am not a win admin expert, and (extensive) google research of the
above did not turn up much. I was able to get some limited info on the
use of AUXSOURCE flag, but no idea what the Heartbeat_Sent source is.

Please help.
