Hello,
So, I have this old Dell PowerEdge 4400 server. It was set up with some
sort of 8-disk raid. One of the disks failed, but I was ultimately able to
recover from it and get it running again. Things seem to be running OK, but
it still knows about the dead disk and is sounding this awfully LOUD high
pitched beep that never ends.
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to turn the sucker off. I can't
even find the speaker to cut the wire. Yeah, this isn't a mission critical
system, just something at my house I use for testing. Anybody have any
ideas?
Thanks!
