Hi,
This is regarding the Windows Server 2003 64 bit edition
I need to write a batch file to know whether the OS is 64 bit or
not .I need to retrieve that from registry
So how can I determine whether the OS is 64 bit or not from registry
without basing on the processor architecture
I mean if the Processor is Em64 or IA 64 we cannot say that the OS is
Windows 64 bit .Is there any chance to
know that the OS is 64 bit from Registry. Please help me if anybody
know the answer

You can safely bet that if the processor is an IA64 you certainly do not have a 32-bit Windows running on it!
