Re: Print server issue

Hi,

Here is what I do in such case.

For example, printer A IP is a.b.c.1, printer B is a.b.c.2, normally I will temporary change the PORT of printerA to a.b.c.2 and restart the print job.

Hi sorry for posting lots of questions...

This one is going to sound left field...

We have a print server set up with 150 printers attached to it... Currently
if any one single printer jams up (ie wont delete a job etc) I have to stop
and restart the entire print server for everyone...

Needless to say when this occurs it is causing me a lot of grief... Is there
anyway that you can instantiate a print spooler service per printer (So that
if you have to restart it, it affects on that printer)??
