Hello Walter P.,

Should a normal domain user add the computer to the domain? Or do you add
them to the domain yourself and the users can not login with theire user
account?

Hi all,

I have a Win 2003 Server, with about 50 PCs (XP Pro SP2)  into the
domain. My problem is when I try to add a couple of PCs to the domain.
I normally add them thru My Computer - Computer Name - Change -
Member Of... reboot.
There, there is no problem, but when a user logs in, with his domain
user, you can see that the GPOs are not applied, and that the PC
cannot "see" the domain (for instance, to assign rights to domain
users)
Nevertheless, the PC appears in the Computers OU and its full name
includes the domain...
I have tried to re-add the PC several times, deleting the PC account
from the AD, but it is the same.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Ppl!

To reply to your questions:

1: We are using static IPs
2: The Admin user is the only that manages users and computers,
therefore, only with that user we add, modify and delete computer and
user accounts

Thanks to all
