Hello John,
Can you ping it with name and ip address? Is the firewall enabled on the remote machine? Is 2003 the remote machine or are both computers 2003?

I cannot connect to a computer in my network using remote desktop- Show quoted text -
connection. Its property allows access. Is there anything I am
forgetting?- Hide quoted text -
enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections.
Also network problems might be preventing the connection
