File Transfer Windows 2003 => XP
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
Hi,
Problem at client side.
Situation:
- Ms Windows 2003 Server SP1 on Proliant Architecture (gbit)
- Ms Windows XP SP2 clients (GBit)
- 1Gbit network managed switchen
When working on clients en we request file transfer from en to W2K03 server
shares, the copy goes extremely slow.
When we do the same copying, logged on on server, copying to XP machine, it
goes very fast as normal.
I have seen KB articles 321098 - 311833 - 328890.
I am now downloading Windows 2003 SP2, but I am not sure that will work.
Does anyone has any idea ??
Thanks;
