You're welcome. Be sure to test the USB floppy drive to be sure that it works properly during the text mode setup portion of the Server 2003 setup. I'm not 100% sure about server 2003 but with XP not all USB drives are compatible:
A connected USB floppy disk drive does not work when you press F6 to install mass storage drivers during the Windows XP installation process

If it doesn't work for the F6 routine it wont work for F2 and ASR. The article mentions Windows XP but I believe the same may also apply to Server 2003.

You can create the backup set without creating the floppy diskette but you cannot initiate an ASR Restore without the floppy diskette. The ASR restoration process will only work with the floppy diskette, it will not work with any other media source. You can fit a floppy to the server or use a USB floppy drive, or use another disaster recovery solution.

Simple question
when you create an ASR set for a server it wants to create a floppy disk(s).
Can you change this so you can have it create it to a usb thumb drive instead? Alot of of hte newer servers dont have floppy drives at all and i want to be able to utilize the ASR features on our new servers.
is there an option to create these elsewhere? Everything i have read says you need a floppy disk to create the ASR set.
