Have you recently added any hardware (router /Access Point / network printer
/ network card something like that can derange the network?
I tell you this because this week i had the same symptoms
And it was a malfunctioning access point from SiteCom.
I don't know if this info is relevant. but it's free so their you go :)

I have approximately 100 users on our network that consists of 7
servers. There are approximately 1 dozen users that get disconnected
from one server consistantly. That is a W2K server with network
shares. I am pretty sure it is a DNS issue because I can ipconfig
/release /renew and that works (most of the time).
Sometimes I do not even have to do that, just click on the shared
drive and it comes back.
Thanks,
Jeff
Any help here?
