Patrick;
Windows Server 2008 is a Beta so it is expected that some programs may not recognize it.
At release, the programs should work or they may need an update.
Check the specific website for the programs in question about Windows Server 2008 compatibility.

Hi,
During installations of several Microsoft-Programms on the new Server, I
see, that "at least Windows 2003 SP1 is required".
That means to me that the compatibility of the OS is not yet very fine-tuned.
Is that true?
regards
Patrick
