Hello,
Roaming profile are great, but every thing must be inside the roaming profile to get backuped.
You will have problems with pst files, for example they are exluded from offline folder.
You may use a simple script that is executed at logoff through GPO (robocopy...)
You may use both roaming profile for the windows profile itself, and also use a script for fancy things.

Does any one know of any software/method that will automatically
backup on logoff? We need to backup mydocuments and any other files
including database and emails that users have saved on the local
harddrive (C;) and shared network drives. Is this possible to
configure in the windows Active Directory? Can the files be set up to
backup on logoff by synchronizing roaming profiles? Any disadvantages
to this?
Sorry for all questions - thanks for any help - I am wondering how I
should set up a good backup strategy, I have software suggestions for
Legato and Retrospect.
