Hello,
except with Windows Vista, Windows desktop use CPU, only a few of video card power.
But on the RDP profile, you can choose the number of color. I think you are stuck in 256 colors, TSE can do much better (16 bits at least)
Start by checking your RDP profile

Is my Remote Desktop Connection session on Server 2003 Standard Edition R2
SP2 x32 improved at all visually if I am looking at a website with images on
it, if I have say a 128MB video card instead of the onboard ....32MB or 64MB
video? When images come on the pages or I am looking at screenshots from
users, I find that the graphics are slow. I might be my connection, however
when I am doing everything else it is OK. I am on a cable connection with a
slow upload rate, however, it is DECENT. I wonder if I put in a 128MB video
card if things will improve or if I'm in fantasy land and should wake up and
realize it's the upload rate that is killing me and a 512MB video card won't
help me at all.
Thank you.
