hmm.. well, i have to ask.. are you sure you are logging in with an account
which has administrative rights?
Check your local security policy on that server (secpol.msc) and compare it
against your servers which worked.

Try deleting all the files within the Windows/Software
Distribution/Downloads folder and then try again.

Try and manually download the full SP2 to install instead.

also i get a box pop up telling me "you do not have permission to

windows server 2003. please comtact your system administrator"

I have just updates my other server 2003 box fine can you please help
