Thank you!
I have another question tho... I can ping the server's IP, but I cannot ping
the server's name... What would be causing this?

You could try a NET USE * /delete to delete all his currently remembered
connections.
Another thing that would prob work is to temporarily create a mapped drive
to the share using the "connect using a different user name" option and
make sure to put the correct info here, mapping this even just once with
the right credentials and then disconnecting the drive would fix the
permissions issue.

Hi,
I have a Windows 2003 server with 30+ domain users. I have shared a
number of folders on the server for these users to access and store
files, however, there is a laptop which does not logon to the domain, but
exists on the network.
Normally, I would expect a username/password prompt to show if this
laptop were to access the Win2003 server's shared folders. This did occur
a few times, but has now stopped and keeps prompting the same message of
having no permissions to access the resource. How do I continue to have
this username/password dialog apear?
Thank you in advance,
A.
