We have server 2003 and all xp sp2, roaming profiles and user home
directories. Inside our main gpo for all users i have configured
folder redirection for my documents using the setting "redirect to
user's home directory". This works great since the "u:" drive on all
profiles is now the same as the my documents location and therefore
all my doc links (on desktop and in apps) goes to the same place. We
have had this working for over a year now, last week one of the
user's my documents folder started not redirecting. When you right
click my documents on the desktop it says "c:\documents and
settings\username\my docs" instead of the UNC path like everyone
elses. The "u:" drive or home directory is still being mapped and is
available, all files are there and work normally. No one else has
reported this problem. HELP!!!

Check the workstation's event logs, and run an rsop.msc to check for errors.
Oh, and before anything, do a gpupdate /force.
