When you say "Backup Log" are you referring to the report you can print from
the ntbackup interface? That is empty. Thanks.

I recently setup a differential ntbackup to a file and scheduled it to run
at 2:00am every night and it is not running. It shows on the scheduled
tasks and is checked as being active. Any ideas on where I can look?
Also, I checked the event logs and nothing shows up there. Thank you.

There are three logs to check:
1. Event Viewer
2. Task Scheduler
3. Backup log
I suspect that the Backup log will tell you what's going on.
