I'm trying to troubleshoot what's consuming all the CPU between 4:30AM and
5:30AM. I'm asleep at the time, so I used System Monitor to record CPU
time for all processes and threads.
Now, during the interval, the System process has a recorded average of
95.409% CPU, but the most active threads have 9.199%, 8.548%, 8.287%,
4.670% and 0.015% CPU respectively, which accounts for less than a third
of the CPU. Is System Monitor just not up to the task?
Could be an automatic update. Have a look at the Event Viewer.
