Hi PCKC,
Does this error pop up out of the blue or does it appear when you are
performing an action?
Do you have any related event ids in your event log?
Does your server have any other symptoms?
Microsoft has this KB article, which corresponds to your error code, for a
situation where large files are being moved...
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/831128 You would need to contact Microsoft
for the fix but this is easy and free.
Microsoft also has this article about your error message but this one
assumes you are only using Server 2000 Sp1..
