Eric32,
Questions:
- Did you definitely install the apps either at the console or with the
changeuser /install switch, or ARP? Failing to do this would typically give
you faulty shortcuts
- How did you change the user profile drive?

Recently installed a Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition server and
have
Terminal Services installed. Server isn't in production yet as apps are
still being loaded. We recently had Solomon installed on the server (most
recent app installed). I went in today and made a change to have user
profiles stored on a different drive (instead of c:\docs and settings
changed
it to d:\docs and settings). Ultimately noticed that things weren't
right.
When I would click on Start/Programs and try going to Microsoft Office,
for
example, nothing would appear. Clicked on Start/Programs/Admin Tools --
none
of the admin tools show up. However, I can browse to the various program
folders and manually open them.
I changed the user profiles back to the c-drive just in case but problems
persist. If I look under the "All Users" folder and the "Default User"
folder there appear to be several items missing.
I'm not sure if it was moving the profiles to a different drive or if it
had
to do with the Solomon install or if it's just a problem with the system
itself.
Any ideas?
