You mentioned the Hardware clock being a possible problem. I have been
noticing lately the computer will almost freeze/respond really slow, I
unplug
the keyboard, then plug it back in and its fine. I am thinking maybe this
problem is heat related, would that make sense? I am going to try and
check
the temps of the MB and possibly add more cooling to it, it is in the top
of
a rack, and feels warm.
It is possible but I don't think it has a high probability of being the
cause.
Usually the hardware clock only causes problems at boot -- and if off a
while. Since the computer keeps time in software once the power is on
and the OS booted.
