Re: Citrix MetaFrame Clients getting error related to drive mapping problem

I am not sure if I understand you correctly: is the drive mapping happening
on the terminal server under the TS user account, or on the client under the
client user account?
If it is on the client, one thing you might look at is the webica.ini
control file on the client. This controls what access is allowed to local
drives by the Metaframe server. If you set "Don't ask me again" it writes
the server IP to the webica.ini file. You need to do this for each server.
Unless the user is local admin they don't have the rights to do this so the
session can lock up (access is required but can't be granted).
The other thing to check is what happens if you connect with the regular
Citrix ICA client. You may be having problems with IE security settings.
Let us know if that's not what the problem is,

I setup a new Citrix Server but a certain published application is not
working when users connect through MetaFrame Presentation Server Web
Client. The error the application receives mirrors what would happen
if the network mapped drive was not available.
The published applciation is on another Citrix server and works fine
and it is setup the exact same way in terms of configuration. The
MetaFrame client is allowed to access the users drive with "Full
Access" so that is not part of the issue. Could it be a timing issue
somewhere? BTW, if the user signs onto the server though plain
terminal services it work fine under their profile.
The logon script does not appear to run as quickly on the troubled
server when the user logs onto Citrix and connects to the application
on the problem server.
Any suggestions welcome...any one a Citrix guru??

Thanks-
