With Microsoft cluster we only care about disk signatures not logical
letters concerning physical disk resources. Applications like SQL and
Exchange care about logical letters. Unfortunately I do not
completely understand your post. You can change drive letters from
disk management with disk resources online. In order to alter
dependencies you have to take those resources offline prior to
changing the dependency from one drive to another for example. More
info would be helpful.
