Hi Vicky,
1. SP is same as Windows 2003. SP2 as of now.
2. I haven't looked. It generally has more open IP applications than a
regular server because of the Remote Web Workplace (handy) and other
services like the SharePoint Portal Services / SMTP etc...
3. Same as Exchange 2003 an edb / stm disk files. Use Symantec Backup Exec
10.x or higher seems to be a good backup for mailboxes and the storage
groups.
Someone else will have some ideas for you too I hope.
Cheers,

Never Installed SBS before. Will be doing so in a few days from now.
Just few queries
1] Will SBS use a Unique Service Pack.
2] Does SBS std edt has a buit in Security Configuration Wizard to harden
the server
3] How is the exchange DB & Log file stored - any recommendation?
