I have tryied many "workarounds" - using rdp after server starts (without
logging on console), logging out from console, use another username on
console and RDP, ... and it simply does not help. Only way (till this time)
is use older RDP client (5.2) instead of new one (6.0). Not good way with
150 stations with new client version. Ugh :-(

Have you tried logging off from the console via RDP from your notebook
(rather than just closing the session which leaves it logged on)? I have
personally run into this same issue and logging off the session, instead
of just closing the RDP window, has resolved it. I know it's not supposed
to work that way, but we all know Windows doesn't always run "as
advertised"...

Hi,
from install of new microsoft RDP client (From Windows Update, ver.
6.0.6000) I am unable to connect to my AD Server (Windows 2003, SP2). It
reports error "The client could not connect. You are already connected to
the console of this computer. A new console session cannot be
established". This error appears ONLY when I am trying to connect from
any AD member station. If I try to connect from my notebook, which is not
AD member RDP works fine (same lan configuration got from DHCP). Please
do you have any solution for this ?
