Hi,
Windows XP Home does not have this featured enabled out of the box,
but it can be fixed with just a simple change. To do this try the
following:
Open Windows Explorer
Select Folder Options... from the Tools menu at the top of the window
Select the View tab
Under the Advanced Setting: box at the bottom, the last option should
be "Use Simple File Sharing (recommended)", uncheck this.
This also affects Windows XP Professional computers that are not in a
domain. Now you should be able to set sharing properties for any
folder you want.
