Hi,

Thanks for the reply, I already tried this. It only works for workstations,
not servers.

Hi,

We have several w2k3 servers, (DC, member, Exchange, etc). Is there any way
to restrict an user to logging on to one server only? If so, how?

Thanks,

Lyj

In Active Directory you can set this restriction on the Account tab,
there is abutton labeled Log on to... click this and add the
workstation(s). Two disclaimers, 1) This is NetBIOS traffic so be sure
that your network in configured to use it, and 2) This is not 100%
secure but is should do for most situations.- Hide quoted text -

That's news to me...a NetBIOS/DNS name is a NetBIOS/DNS name
regardless if it is a server or a workstation. You must have typed in
the name of the server incorrectly or something because it does work
