It's impossible to give recommendations when you don't specify

* numbers of clients
* desired level of redundancy
* applications used
* amount of data for these applications
* budget
* knowledge of the personal involved

The problem is that a fully HA environment is difficult to
design, implement, and maintain. And the design has to be right
on the first try, because everything else will give you more
downtime than a non-HA solution.
