SNMP - add a community via reg import?

I have several hundred servers running SNMP that don'trr have the community
configured.
I found communities are stored in regedit at...
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP\Parameters\ValidCommunities
In particular, public with a value of DWord=4

If I export this key from one, configured server, and import it to the other
servers will that correctly configure that community? or is there more that
happens behind the scenes in the GUI?
