DNS Setup on a W3K Server

Folks, I have to tell you this is now driving me crazy.
I've done the initial DNS set up but can't seem to get things working.
First I have 2 NIC's in the machine and don't know which one to
configure first so I decided to try to configure the NIC going out the
the DSL modem.
Second, when I opend up the DNS snapin I (dnsmgmt) see the machine
name as being vuquestw3k. My domain name is vuquest.com.
I see vuquest.com in the right pane and the type is standard primary.
I don't know if this is right. Shoud this be something else?
If I click on the forward lookup zone in the left pane for vuquestw3k
the right pane displays an SOA, NS and a whole bunch of A records
(these A records have IP's of 192.168.1.x for the web sites I what to
host.
I have a reverse look up zone set up which has an SOA, NS and PTR
record displayed in the right pane.
I don't want to use DHCP on the internal network.
I have tried all sorts of combinations to set up the TCP/IP properties
page and can't seem to get it straight as I can't get out to the web
from the server machine.
Also, I don't know how to go about configuring the second NIC so other
hosts can get to this DNS server and out to the web.
I know this a whole lot to bite off but if someone on the list would
be kind enough to walk me through the set up I really would greatful.
Thanks.
.
