Re: scheduled tasks could not start

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

NCKestrel пишет:
I have a Windows 2003 Server with four scheduled tasks. All four work when I
create them and manually run them. I wait for their regularly scheduled run
time and I get a status of "Could Not Start". The SchedLgU.Txt log shows
"0x80070569: Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon
type at this computer.
Verify that the task's Run-as name and password are valid and try again."
The tasks no longer run if I manually run them.
If I create a new task, or manually reenter the password for any one of the
four scheduled tasks, all four tasks now work manually again.
The four tasks: 1) full windows nt backup once a week on sat, 2) inc windows
nt backup daily the other nights, 3) call a program to download a file from a
website to the local hard drive, and 4) synctoy to synchronize a folder.
I edited the last two tasks above to log the results as suggested by Pegasus
in several other threads. I will update after they try to run tonight (they
work fine after I recreated one of the tasks this morning).

Check that user, from whose name tasks are run have "Log on as a batch
job" priveledge.
