Hello all,
I work for software develop company and we have a problem in one of our
clients.
When the SMTP service that we use crashes our software knows to restart it
auto. But in this client he gets a popup message requesting him click
cancel
or Ok to debug. after he clicks cancel the service is restarted auto as it
should.
It's not really a service then, right? But some application you are trying
to
use in place of a properly written service?
We tried to change the client DEP definitions and drwatson32 definitions
and
all are the same in other servers we have that works normal.
Any other ideas?
So it never really ends because of the popup? And then your "restart"
doesn't
know that it is effectively dead?
Buy or build a real service -- there are plenty of SMTP services that work
well.
