Bizarre display error

Recently, an administrator remotely pushed down McAfee's VirusScan
Enterprise 8.0 to all machines. Later, an error was found with some
settings in the client configuration, so all clients were later
updated and the issues resolved without any problems, except for one.
On this one client, a Windows 2003 server with SP1, the McAfee client
ultimately was totally removed. But since then, when you open
services.msc console, the list of services cannot be seen. When
looking using the Extended Tab view, only a small box with the
services icon is visible, rather than the list of services you'd
expect to see. However, when you select the Standard Tab within
services.msc, you can see the entire list of services just fine! Does
anyone have any ideas what I can do to repair this problem. Other 3rd
party applications on this server (such as Arcserve) also have a
similar problem with pieces of certain screens now blank that
previously were not. There are no error messages visible, or errors
found in log files - the only error is the lack of displaying data
correctly. Any suggestions how to repair the server????
