Hi Martin,
We use it to secure wireless access.
And each Access Point is a client in IAS.
And the number of Access Point -> Clients must be limited.
For w2k3 Standard it is limited to 50.

Dear all,
I had problems with access points on our IAS server (DC with w2k).
I heard that there should be a limit, how many clients can be configured
on one server.
Does anybody know how many?
For w2k3 I found a limit for 50 clients. What about w2k?
"Clients" are NOT configured in IAS. Rather Policies are configured and
each policy can affect unlimited numbers of users.
Clients are (somewhat) limited in RRAS where you can only have a maximum
number of Dial Clients -- but this is 256 so your 50 is no-where near
that.
Also 48 demand dial clients but you don't mention either RRAS or Demand
Dial.
