My main concern is why can't I browse through the domain to access other
resources. If I browse to a folder through microsoftnetwork, expand my
domain, there is nothing underneath it.
When I'm logged on to the server as my user name (not administrator), I'm
able to browse through the network, etc.
Like you mentioned it's a browsing issue and I can't figure out what's
causing the problem.
I am able to map a drive by going to the map network drives folder,
selecting my drive and typing in \\srv06\shared. The fact I can't browse to
it and add it is the problem, it's telling me something's not right and looks
like to be a browsing issue, not a security issue.
net view \\srv06 produces a list of my shares, most are preconfigured
shares. The one share I made up called "shared" does show up.

To clarify things, I can map a drive by typing in \\Svr06\shared
If I try to right click on my computer and select map network drive, there
are no shares present.
Servers appear due to NetBIOS and the Master Browser, or for
Multiple subnets also due to the Domain Master Browser and the
WINS server.
Shares appear because the server appears (see above) and there
is one without a $ sign.
What is the name the share?
set logonserver = \\Svr06
set username = \\administrator
set userdomain = \\DOMAIN06
Net use * \\Svr06\shared
"System error 53 has occurred, The network path was not found"
You show here it failed but above you said this worked:
"> To clarify things, I can map a drive by typing in \\Svr06\shared "
Which is it?
What happens when you type:
net view \\Svr06
