I have a Windows 2003 domain currently in mixed mode. There are no NT4
domain controllers in the environment. If I raise the functional mode of
the
domain to native will Microsoft Vpn PPTP running on NT4 member server
still
function?
If you place the Everyone group in the Pre-Windows 2000 Compatibility group.
(This is the same as selecting Pre-Windows 2000 compatibility during the
creation of the domain during the first DCPromo.)
Also there is a dial-up RAS (PPP) on a 2003 member server as well.
Will I encounter any problems with either? Configuration changes
necessary?
Why not upgrade? (It's [past] time to upgrade.)
