Shutdown.exe without power off
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
Hello we are using shutdown.exe (windows 2003) in batch to turn off servers
in case of power failure (through APC powerchute)
However, we are now trying to just unload the OS of remote servers without
stopping them, like the APC agent does for the local server, in order for
them to reboot when power is restored
Do you know a little command line app that has this option and is free, or
do i have to code and wrap the API call initiateshutdownex ?
Thank you in advance.
