So, VS 2005 SP1 will be available to deployed by WSUS.
If you want to creat a report of the installed auto client patches, you can
use WSUS Reporting Rollup Sample Tool. This tool uses the WSUS application
programming interface (API) to demonstrate centralized monitoring and
reporting for WSUS
thanks.

I understand that you can set the option in WSUS to sync Visual Studio
SP1but that wasn't my question. I had two questions and they were:
1. Will Windows Server Update Services have available Visual Studio 2005
almostto push out to our developer machines?
2. If so, is there any information listed that says when this will be
available?

Hi,
Sorry for the outdated information.
To your questions, generally speaking the WSUS server will include
typeall the updates.
However you must select the option in the WSUS to let it sync it.
The option is:
Open the WSUS admin console => Options => Synchronization options =>
Products and classifications => you can change the product and update
sothere
Thanks.

You have confused me even more. Visual Studio 2005 SP1 has already
install itWhat I'm wondering is if I have to have my developers download and
or will I be able to push this update out through WSUS. Any idea?
2005you.
