Flash movie ..its there but cannot be seen?

Hello...
I am not too sure if this is a Dreamweaver problem or a MS server 2003
one?
I have created a web page and within it is embedded a flash movie.
On a standalone PC the web page and movie open and play OK. When the
folder is added to my intranet site the page will open but the movie
does not play, all the same files are there but it will not open.
Using the same station on the network to look at a mirror copy of the
intranet site (stored on a nas box) it opens fine.
Scratching my head trying to figure out what I have missed!
Oh... and if I have the movie embedded as a quicktime file instead it
will open without any problem on the intranet site!
Any clues to what is happening, or not happening to my flash movie?
