Hi All,system
I'm having a particular problem. When I tried to copy a large file (around
7GB) from Windows Server 2003 to a shared folder "destination" , the
throws an "Insuficient Disk Space Error" eveing when there is enoughtspace
available.the
When I tried to perform the same operation, but usign a Windows XP Pro
system it works perfect. What I'm doing this time is copying, from my XP
desktop, the file from a shared folder on the same Windows 2003 system to
same shared folder "destination".to
Apparently there is some policy in Windows 2003 Server that doens't allow
copy large files to a network share.
Does anyone have any ideo how to resolve this issue?
Thank you all.

It's time to determine if the problem is caused by the copy process
or by some restriction on the share. You can do it like so:
- Start a Command Prompt
- Navigate to the problem folder
- Type this command:
fsutil file createnew big.bin 7000000000
The command will create a huge file in a fraction of a second.
Depending on the result, you can play with different sizes, locations
and file names.
