Go to search engine, search and download a tool call "admnalow". It
help you to provide administrator full control on the file and
directory without modify the existing permission/owner of the
file/directory. This should solve the NTFS permission problem.

Hmmm.. still having difficulty with the NTFS permissions - I'm getting;
New File 24064 Test2.doc
2006/12/01 11:58:22 ERROR 1314 (0x00000522) Copying NTFS Security to
Destination Directory \\server\Home Directories\migtest\test\
A required privilege is not held by the client.
I have tried using the administrator account but does not seem to help. I am
running this from my workstation as I cannot get it to work at all on the
server - will not create the log files or copy at all running on the server.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Dave
