The senario is that the data files are stored on server1 and that
server goes down(hard drive failure/motherboard/power supply/etc) we
need server2 to continue functioning as the file server while server1
is repaired.
Were using NT 4.0 with a scheduled backup for this, but we thought
clustering would be better. I am finding out that it may not do what
we need
Could we use a realtime backup software to move the files and use DFS
to switch to server2 on failure of server1 for the files???
.
