Demoting Domain Controller

Dear All,
We currently have a domain with four domain controllers, three domain
controllers are running Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition and the
fourth Windows 2000 Server.
Our Active Directory is currently running a 'Forest Functional Level' of
Windows 2000 and a 'Domain Functional Level' of Windows 2000 (Native.)
I was wondering what impact if any would there be in demoting the last
Windows 2000 Server Domain Controller to a member server and continuing with
three domain controllers running Windows 2003 Server Edition but with Forest
and Domain Functional Level at Windows 2000?????
I will raise the Forest and Domain Functional Level in a couple of weeks but
I was wondering if there would be an impact if I demoted the last 2000 DC
and left the functional level at 2000 level for a short while.
Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Darren King
