Thanks for the link Dave but it did not help.
The solution in my case....once I got the server back in the domain I copied
some of the main registry keys over from one of my near identical redundant
servers...rebooted...and then manually stopped and started services like
share and everything came back online.
Makes a strong case for identical server redundancy!!!!
