How does one go about disabling the inheritance of a GPO locally on a
server? The default Password Policy is being inherited on a server
that should be further hardened, but the other computers in the
domain should not be effected and some of them, of course, inherit
the Default GPO.
Is there a reg key that can be modified in this instance?
Thanks!
Password policies are set on the domain level and will apply to *all*
computers & servers in the domain.
You can set up additional GPOs that are linked to other OUs (ones you've
created, note!) that do what you wish.
You might try microsoft.public.windows.group_policy for more specific help.
